In its 4th Generation, the 2018 Kia Rio Sport
shows much signs of maturity compared to its previous models. The Rio in its
most common form, the hatchback, boasts new sheet metal, with Kia reps,
claiming the car is 90% new with only minor parts being carried over into this
current model.
The Rio has a more aggressive body side line and design,
this time around. The Rio is also lighter despite more content, larger
dimensions and additional safety equipment.
Additionally, the interior has been updated for this model:
the simple yet sophisticated interior and layout has a nice effect, and
improved ergonomics makes it even better. The Rio comfortably fits four adults,
and possible a small child in the middle back seat position. However, it’s the Rio
precious cargo / trunk space, that makes this a good sell.
The Rio comes with a new engine and drive drain. The Kia Sport
comes with a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine mated with a four-speed
automatic transmission, which makes for punchy acceleration and quick crisp shifting.
