Is placed snuggled in the SUV Crossover segment, however the
Trax is basically an elevated version of a subcompact hatchback. This height accommodation
is key to the Trax’s function.
Competing with its fiercest rival and latest arrival in
T&T the Mazda CX-3, the Trax’s visual update helps it hang with its better-looking
competitors. Though the appearance of the Trax may look small, I could attest
the interior is quite spacious. Outward visibility is high, head room is more
than accommodating and knee room for passengers in the back is acceptable for
three (3) adults.
The Trax engine and drive train remains the same, as the
outgoing model. It is powered by a turbocharged 1.4 4 cylinder, gasoline engine, which delivers 138
horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, which makes for quick acceleration around
town.
