The host venue, the recently opened South Park, located Tarouba Link Road, San Fernando was packed to capacity. This was even more evident at South Park's underground parking lot, which gave it that gritty yet cool look and feel, made popular by Games and Movies like 'Need for Speed' and Movie Franchise 'Fast and Furious'.
I was lucky enough to be in attendance and to capture some of these awesome cars, off-roaders and bikes that were on display. You can check them out below
By far, one of the most popular cars there, the Lambo in its gunmetal black paint job, lured spectators to it with is futurist design and 'Bat mobile' appearance. Even the number plate has meaning, although it may have been specially ordered, the 750 does represent how much horse power the Lambo has, and YES 750 to be exact.
One of only a few in Trinidad, this beauty truly stood out. It is the true definition of Italian Style and Power, engineered to perfection.
Commonly known in Japan as 'Godzilla' and as the 'Ferrari Killer' in the Western World, the Nissan GTR is a Engineering Feat. the GTR is synonymous with Speed, Performance, Power, it is also synonymous with Value for Money. It gives you state of the art technology, super car performance for a fraction of the cost.
For the True Japaneses Import Lovers, know what the GTR represents and stand for, I myself have been obsessed with these machines as a teenager. As for now, nothing much has changed.
Chevrolet Caprice Classic
Caught it Motion, this 'Old School Low-rider' was definitely doing its thing at the Underground Jamboree. Lower riders more commonly known and seen in United States, West-side California to be exact, has taken residency in Trinidad, however was well equipped with the necessary hydraulics to keep it bouncing all afternoon.
This candy red Nissan March, came out for competition putting all small compacts on notice. Customized with Scissors Doors in the front and Suicide Doors in the Back, gave the extremely loud audio system pitch and range. Also equipped with a custom interior and lighting system, it was indeed a pleasure to see such a iconic 'small car' customized to this level.
